Smile Friday: Maternity Leaving & Returning edition

It was my first day back at work after my maternity leave with Hazel.
(I was freaking out. I couldn’t breathe….cried my way to the office…I think part of me worried that Hazel would actually forget I was her mother in the course of one short work day.)
That was a hard day.
But it got getter.
Way better.
Great, actually
And Here we are, 1 (and one day) year later…
and funny enough, today is my last day at work before heading out on leave again.
There is a nice symmetry to that.
I have loved being back at work, but I have a feeling I sure am going to enjoy this next chapter too!
