Totally worth a shout-out:  Buy Modern Baby
The Buy Modern Baby Blog has been my go-to resource for inspired design ideas for my baby and baby-to-be.  From cradles to strollers to pint-sized art tables, I consult this blog before making any major child related purchases.
And as such, I have spent the better part of the past few days pouring through the pages trying to put together a look for H2’s nursery.  So far, I still have no definitive plan (but I do really like the set featured above).  I am struggling with how to use nursery furniture we already have while giving H2 a room that looks fresh and has a feel of it’s own.
We have the essentials.  We pulled key pieces into the nursery from Hazel’s room (the Glider, Changing table, & leaning bookshelf) and rather than buying a second crib or kicking Z out of hers, we decided to use the Alma Mini Crib that my parents used at their home.  This was a smart (and fiscally responsible) choice, I think.
I am dedicating my next few days to making sure this space is ready to welcome our baby girl home in style.
Wish me luck…I’m going to need it
