Today the 4 of us went for lunch in Chinatown.
Lao Sze Chuan (another Bib Gourmand pick)
I’ve got to tell you, it was as fun of a lunch as we’ve ever had with the girls.
Felix woke up a few times to admire her view into the hustling kitchen but was lulled back to sleep by the servers’ constant motion.
Hazel was being very adventurous with all the pisey (spicy) food - her little tongue defiantly licked bites that her dad I warned were hottt. She laughed as her mouth obviously tingled.
She also thought the pandas on the wallpaper across the room were just adorable. She referenced them repeatedly during our meal and lovingly called them “teddy” (as in bear)
But it was the her-size mugs of tea that won Hazel over. She sipped it so delicately. She felt big-girl. She looked it too.
Simon and I got a kick out of her.
The girls were great company today.
After lunch, we walked around the square.
and waved back
at the robotic kitties.
