Yesterday my papa stopped by after his early morning cases with treats for the girls. Goodies from the O.R.
A sort of prelude to take your (grand) daughter to work day.
As a point of reference, he ask Hazel to find one of her books with a doctor in it.
Madeline was the best we could come up with (“Nurse, he said, it’s an appendix!”)
Dad then strapped face masks and hair covers on my nuggets
He made them balloon animals out of the latex gloves, which as you can imagine, was a total hit.
And for the piece de resistance…they did a google image search for surgeries
(gross)
As my dad got ready to walk out the door, Hazel trailed close behind him.
I asked where she was going
And without breaking her stride, she said: WORK.
All business.
