Hi Emily! I've got a question for you: one my friends just had a baby today, and a group of us would like to get a small gift for them. We're all starving law students, so we'd like to keep costs down. This is the first of my friends to have a baby so I have no idea what's appropriate. In fact, I do have a couple of group baby gift suggestions for you.
Touch The Art Books: These books are the single best baby gift I received and are the star of story time every single night. At about $10 each, perhaps you can pick up a few of the titles in the series.
Little Giraffe Plush Blankets: No doubt your friend has received so many receiving blankets but the Little Giraffe products are like no other. INSANELY soft, warm and gorgeous - if you go for the larger size (linked above) it is a perfect throw for the stroller.
Plus, it is Suri Cruise’s blanket of choice…so there’s that.
Barneys Sweater/Hat Set: I am not sure how many people are going in on the gift, but at $75 this gift is a lot of bang for your buck. This gift is at once practical and special.
It is easy to put on, weather appropriate, cute as all get out….
Plus you guys get to give a gift in a Barneys box (which is sort of fun) and the baby gets his/her first designer outfit (which is really fun).
