Ah.... feeling down for three days now. How do you motivate yourself to be positive and to keep pusging even when your body is saying "I do not think so." Thanks. Need to pull myself uf and not sure how to. Any books recomendations? Any tips?

Hi there,
Ah sorry to hear that…
For what it’s worth, I have sort of been in a funk this week too. I am tired, I think, among other things.
Obviously, I don’t know what will cheer you up
Or what is pulling you down (and I don’t mean to suggest that the below will solve all of your problems…)
But since you asked, I am happy to share what works for me when I need to SHAKE IT OFF:
Lace up your sneakers, turn up your headphones (loud!), grab your camera (cell phone camera works just as well) and take a good old fashioned walk.
A gratitude walk.
Walk hard and fast and far.
Bonus points if you can swing a night walk. Those are my favorite.
Take pictures of all the beautiful things you see along the way.
I mean, go hunting for beauty.
Actively look for it…then capture the goodness with your camera.
As you move, write the “story of your walk” in your mind. The interesting people, funny sounds, gorgeous sights. If you keep your eyes open, a narrative will emerge. A narrative that will distract you from whatever weight you are carrying and help shift stinking thinking to thoughts of gratitude.
Plus, the walk will get your blood flowing which is always good for business.
And since interesting input makes for interesting output…
You might be surprised to find that you return home with stories to share with your family, friends or blog :)
Chin up.
I hope this helps in some small way.
xo, em
