Christmas Tree Brigade!
Yesterday, the big-kid cousins spent the afternoon putting up our mimi & papa’s Christmas Tree. This is our 5th or 6th year playing elves for our grandparents, and it has become sort of a tradition.
We decorate the tree
They feed us. Pasta, meatballs, sausage & cannolis.
And we all spend the afternoon admiring the ornaments (i give to you…mr. christmas, japan 1973. see below.) and spending good old fashioned quality time together.
The night after mimi’s surgery back in August, I got on my knees and prayed that we would be able to do this again this year…
I am so thankful.
