Thursday is cookie baking day.
Every year, My mama, our friend Jan, Ellie & I take a day in early December and crank out our Christmas cookies. We each bake 3 or so recipes and divvy up the bounty between our holiday tins.
I am going to make a molasses cookie,
Simon’s grandma’s sugar cookie ((thin and crunchy))
and I am still looking for a third recipe.
This soft almond cookie looks delicious and doable, but am open to suggestions if anyone has a holiday cookie that they are crazy about!

Smitten Kitchen’s salted white chocolate oatmeal cookies are amazing. I made them for the welcome bags at a friend’s wedding because she loved them. Also - We Are Not Martha’s peppermint sugar cookies are awes and contain ground up candy canes!
