![Moments Before Three
After brunch, we made our way around town for some errand running, the fun kind of errands.
We were on the hunt for a table lamp for the nursery [mission accomplished]…but other than that, we were really just bipping. You know, taking advantage of our mobility, of a few more days or weeks of strollerlessness.
We ran into several stores and some discarded remnants of last-night’s festivities. We ran into friends. We ran into cousins. We ran into a perfect crocheted pouf [resting now under my feet] and some fancy products picked up for our go-bag.
While Baby Girl is obviously not here yet, she feels so present. In every conversation, crosswalk and credit-card swipe, she is right there with us. She has already made such an impact on these moments before…it’s almost impossible to imagine how much things will change once we are three.
